Here at Nikahified, we understand the importance of balancing life's commitments as a Muslim, including salah, family time, and other daily priorities. That is why all our volunteering roles are designed to specifically be part-time, offering flexibility to accommodate your schedule as a Muslim. We prioritise fair treatment and a comfortable working environment for all volunteers. All volunteers benefit from an understanding community approach where you are recognised not just as a volunteer, but also as an individual who at heart has their own life, goals, aspirations, and priorities. With a diverse range of roles available worldwide, we welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds throughout the calendar year. Most of our work projects and planning undertakings are highly flexible, typically spanning a 6-week time frame or more often than not, less than that. Such is to say that we offer very minimal day-to-day commitments ensuring that your volunteering time does not overlap with other aspects of your individual life. Our volunteers typically contribute 1-3 hours per week, out of kindness, to make a difference in their local and global communities. While roles are unpaid, we offer substantial benefits. What We Offer:

• Islamic Work Setting: Delve into a unique opportunity to work within an active Islamic work setting where we prioritise Islamic values.

• Lunar Calendar Emphasis: Volunteering at Nikahified means that you will never be asked to step over salah time. We emphasise the importance of Islamic values thus when it comes to important Islamic dates such as Ramadan, Eid, or even just time for salah, you will not only be given time to pray or step away from work, you will be encouraged to partake in your faith-based duties. When it comes to Ramadan, we shift our working schedule allowing all volunteers to take time off or work remotely where required. We also do our very best to work in alignment and accordance with the local prayer timetable ensuring that you never have to be put in a position to miss what is most important, hence you’ll notice our business hours are ever-changing each month.

• Hands-on Experience: Work within a global Muslim company in accordance with Islamic principles and gain valuable experience whilst being able to give back to society.

• Recognition: Receive an official reference letter upon completion of the role. Moreover, we offer you a direct Nikahified staff member referee whom you can utilise for an additional 2 years after role completion as a professional reference for any paid roles that you apply to outside of Nikahified!

• Amenities: Access to office/meeting room prayer space for in-person roles.

• Free Event Access: Option for free-of-charge event access for you and two others of your choice throughout your role term. This could include a whole host of Islamic faith-based events including but not limited to halal marriage events, Islamic lectures, community get-togethers, family fun days, networking events, and much more.
